The Greater Cincinnati Harmony Festival is the creation of the Barbershop Harmony Chapters and choruses of Cincinnati, both men's and women's. The inaugural 2006 Harmony Festival was created when the Youth in Harmony and Young Women in Harmony chairs of four choruses came together to find new ways to promote Barbershop harmony. In 2007 the two Sweet Adelines choruses have merged: Queen City Chorus and Seven Hills Show Chorus combined to become Cincinnati Sound Chorus. The Delta Kings Chorus (Cincinnati Chapter) and Southern Gateway Chorus (Cincinnati - Western Hills Chapter) of the men's Barbershop Harmony Society, along with Cincinnati Sound Chorus, provide the leadership, organization, financial and logistical support for the Harmony Festival. This page is designed as a resource for chorus members seeking information about promoting and volunteering services to the Festival. with rehearsal and performance information for the choruses. Again this year, we're fortunate to have some prime talent for our Friday Night Show for all the Barbershoppers! Here's the poster in PDF! The Harmony Festival Management Team is responsible for conducting the Festival. They appreciate any and all donations of time, materials and other support. See the Team page to contact the other members for information about the needs in their specific areas of responsibility. We have a job for any chorus member who wants to help! If you wish to DONATE to the Harmony Festival, the best way is with a check to your Chorus Treasurer. All donations by chorus members are then credited to the respective Chorus. If you donate by the Sponsorship page, be sure to include your Chorus affiliation in the information on the last page of the checkout! |
