The Greater Cincinnati Harmony Festival is a unique and comprehensive a cappella harmony music program for young women and men. June 23-26 are the dates for the 2010 Harmony Festival, the fifth time this kind of event has been held in the Greater Cincinnati area. All the classes, rehearsals, and performances will be held in Greaves Concert Hall at Northern Kentucky University, about 10 minutes from downtown Cincinnati. Based on the first four Festivals' resounding success, ALMOST the same schedule will prevail in 2010, and features overnight lodging for the students in one of NKU's fine dormitories. Day-camper registrations are also available. Registration and dorm check-in will be WEDNESDAY NIGHT to give you a full day of music on Thursday! What You'll Learn

Required Preparation Once you register for the Festival, you will receive sheet music and a learning CD for four songs - three songs will be sung in a Young Women's Chorus or Young Men's Chorus, depending on your gender, and one song will be sung in a big Combined Chorus. Of importance, you'll be expected to know these songs in a voice part of your choice before the Festival. Register as early as possible so you will have plenty of time to learn your music.
